Panel discussion at 2012 Symposium

Hello everyone!

We are at roughly the “three-weeks-out” point as we countdown to the 2013 TLT Symposium, and things are really falling into place behind the scenes. Today we have a few things to call your attention to as we near the event.

Registration Now Closed
First, registration is now full and therefore closed. Thanks to all of you who registered this year, we appreciate your attending and sharing in our excitement for yet another fantastic Symposium.

Nursing Mothers Room
We are offering a service for nursing mothers again this year. Room 215 at the Penn Stater has been reserved for attendees who are nursing mothers and will need to use a private room throughout the day.

Symposium Artwork
Finally, we thought we would point out some artwork to you. Our very talented artist Lauren Beal has once again produced some fantastic art for the Symposium. The first example is a stunning piece which can be be viewed in the main banner of the Symposium web site at http://symposium.tlt.psu.edu/. The artwork was inspired by the creation of Art 10 as Penn State’s first iOS-friendly iTunes U course and visualizes the concept of our Symposium as the canvas for all thoughts, ideas, discussions, and implementations regarding teaching and learning with technology. We will offer up a few other examples of Lauren’s work in the coming weeks.

That’s all for this week, and thanks for reading. In our next email slated for Thursday, Feb. 28, we will include panel discussions, a few session examples, and more.
