Recording Your Session
We will be video recording this year’s presentations in order to make them available after the event. This allows us to offer your presentation to those who are unable to attend this year’s TLT Symposium as well as those who attend Symposium but were unable to make it to your session. Your committee liaison will provide you more information about this in early January.
In preparation for the upcoming 2014 Symposium, we would like each presenter to film a brief, casual approximately 1-minute long “elevator pitch” that will be used to help drive interest for your session through the Symposium website and during the day of the event. The Symposium Media team will contact you to discuss options on how to easily create this video. Help is available for filming and editing the elevator pitch.
An elevator pitch (or elevator speech or statement) is a short summary used to quickly and simply define a product, service, or organization and its value proposition. The name “elevator pitch” reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds to two minutes.
