Faculty and staff with all levels of educational technology expertise from newcomer to seasoned expert are invited to attend the free 2015 Penn State Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology. The Symposium will take place Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, University Park.

Each year the Symposium engages and inspires members of the Penn State community by offering a platform to share effective uses of technology that enhance teaching and learning. Last year was the biggest Symposium ever, with nearly 500 attendees from across the Penn State system participating in two floors of activities at the Penn Stater. You can revisit the 2014 Symposium (or find out what the event’s all about if you never attended) at our 2014 Recap Page.

This year, we plan on building on this success and we have several new features in the works, which we will announce in the months leading up to the event. There is no registration fee and a continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, making this event a budget-friendly professional development opportunity.

Proud of your recent work in educational technology? Along with marking your calendar for March 21, 2015, also please take note that we will open our Request for Proposals for breakout sessions in September. We are looking for sessions that demonstrate practical uses of learning technology which would fit into one of several tracks, and session expertise level can range from the basics to cutting edge.

The Symposium Planning Team will be updating the Symposium Web site with more information and useful features on a regular basis, so be sure to check back to learn more.
